The demulsifier HERCULES 1017 is specially designed as highly effective water-in-oil emulsion breaker for Oil Refinery desalting unit. The demulsifier HERCULES 1017 is an active blend of alkoxylated phenol formaldehyde resins, copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene in aromatic solvent.
The demulsifier HERCULES 1017 is manufactured by Koltech company and delivered to the customers in anywhere.
The demulsifier HERCULES 1017 is recommended for the continuous injection into the crude oil emulsion before the desalter in Oil Refinery through a dosage pump directly from the drums or the tank. HERCULES 1017 is also applicable in oilfield heater treaters for the dewatering of W/O emulsions.
The dosage rate of the demulsifier HERCULES 1017 mainly depends on the stability of emulsions and requirements of residual water and salt content in the crude once passed electric field unit. However, the typical reagent dosage rates are in the range of 1 – 4 grams of demulsifier per metric ton of crude.
The demulsifier HERCULES 1603 is developed to break water-in-oil emulsion when crude oil is processed at desalting unit in Oil Refineries. This is a highly active blend of ethylene oxide and alkyl phenol polymers in a mixture of alcohol and/or aromatic solvent.
Demulsifier HERCULES 1603 is manufactured in three grades: А, B, and С in Koltech company chemical plant.
Demulsifier HERCULES 1603 is continuously injected into the desalter with the dosage pump. Demulsifier is dosed directly from the delivered drum or from specially arranged tank. It is not necessary to make the solution of demulsifier in a hydrocarbon solvent, however the user might do that if it is needed because of any technological reason. HERCULES 1603 is also recommended for the crude oil treatment in oilfield.
The dosage rate of HERCULES 1603 depends on certain requirements for crude oil residual salt content, the amount of washwater used in crude, electric field and others. The typical dosage rates is in range of 1 – 4 grams of crude oil mt. If the demulsufier is used in heater treater, then the dosage rate is higher.
